Dawn's Gelateria and Cafe An interesting dinner. While all the restaurants around them were full. Theirs was completely empty. Leap of faith we decided to try it ( because it’s the only one with available aircon seating 🤣) It turned out to an amazing choice Food was flavourful. It was surprisingly nice. Price was reasonable too. Only 👎 was the boss. After ordering we wanted to hold on to the menu just to look what else was available. The boss saw and told the staff to collect back the menu 😳 even after the staff told him we wanted to view it😅 He say “we might dirty it” 🤔🧐 wth logic was that?? Haha Oh well didn’t want to make life difficult for the staff we just told her,she can take it Thankfully the food was really good and the choice of ice cream was interesting so that “incident” didn’t spoil my overall experience.

Who say Singapore is small😅 Another gem hiding in the HDB estate! Intro by friend and we decided to visit this place for a birthday celebration. Food is really tasty! Try out the platter if the party size is 3pax and above! Do not missed their gelato! Super nice!! They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Bear in mind the indoor seating came with certain time limit though :)

Service - 5 stars Cheerful and friendly staff. Thank you! Waffle - 4.5 stars I was ecstatic when they served the waffle with only my gelato on top - no tacky sprinkles, chocolate syrup or even maple syrup to ruin the dish. The texture is perfect! Crisp on the outside, moist, fluffy and springy on the inside. After biting into a chunk, the rest of the piece on my fork sprang back like bread dough that hasn't finished rising. It had a spongy almost ma lai gao texture. My only tiny gripe is that it could have been slightly more buttery and flavorful. Nothing a good slab of butter can't solve. Matcha - 4 stars Good flavour and not sweet, but there was no lingering matcha flavour which made me feel the flavour wasn't that deep/strong. I somehow still prefer matcha soft serve. I would get it again though. Blue pea Hokkaido milk - 4.25 stars Milky and only slightly sweet. Love it! Amarena cherry - 4.5 stars Sampled this. The cherry chunk I got was sour in the best possible way - I don't like sour stuff. I would get it the next time I go and maybe try a croffle. +++++ Croffle - 5 stars My sister told me croffles are an abomination - this is the first croffle I've had and I'm glad I don't listen to her... Sometimes ;) I don't even like croissants all that much but this tasted like a perfectly toasted croissant - crisp and flaky on the outside, buttery almost chewy on the inside. Loved it. Bailey's Tiramisu - 4 stars Turns out I don't like Bailey's in ice cream even though I love alcohol in my desserts. Cookies and Cream - 3.5 stars Could barely taste the Oreos. My least favorite so far. +++++ Houjicha with cacao nibs - 5 stars My only gripe was too small a scoop! Panettone with coffee - 4 stars The coffee ice cream was VERY bitter. The raisins were likely rum-soaked. Good but I'd try other flavours. Fish and chips - 3.75 stars The fish was a bit too greasy for me but overall a solid fish and chips. I appreciated that they gave plenty of salad as a replacement for the chips upon request!

This is our 2nd visit here with our doggy (pet friendly) Food is good & reasonably priced. (No GST & service charge) The pork ribeye is my favorite! Juicy tender and I loved the sides too (sliced potatoes with onion & salad) Their pasta not bad too! I will come back to try their meatball pasta! Oh… remember to try their handcrafted gelato. You will be spoiled for choice!! ❤️❤️

Had a wonderful & nice lunch till tea time at this nice cafe. Foods was great, boss is super friendly and fun-loving to chat person. Venue is quite accessible and easy to find within the areas. Cafe inside was quite narrow while outside is much more better for what I feel. Went during lunch time and it was great cuz it was crowded and it's my preference. Will definitely go there again, it's a good place to catch up with friends for quiet chat. Best in the cafe is no gst and service charge.

Stumbled upon this cafe whilst searching for a Pet Friendly Cafe. Upon reaching there, the very first thing we saw was a signage that says "Pet Friendly"……. Woohoo!! We settled down on one of the seats and was immediately served a cup of plain water, including one for my doggy. As this was the first time we came here, I decided to order the Tomato and Meatball Spaghetti and my wife ordered the Signature Tattoria Chicken Leg. As a starter, we ordered the Mentaiko Fries which was listed as a recommended dish. When the fries arrived, it became apparent why it was recommended. The serving of mentaiko on top of the fries was generous and extremely good. Definitely one of the better ones I’ve ever tried. If you’re there, please try the fries. The meatball spaghetti was really rich, thick and the portion of the meatballs was really huge. I really loved the rich, flavourful tomatoes sauce that coated each stand of pasta and the freshly made meatballs were succulent, tender and juicy. The Tattoria chicken leg was neatly rolled with the crispy skin and baked to perfection. Served with a portion of salad and potatoes, it’s definitely more than my wife could handle. After the delicious meal, we ordered their gelato and this really made our day. Wanted to order the waffle with gelato, but we were too stuffed to eat anything else. Highly recommended and will definitely come back again to try the other dishes.

Really enjoyed my dinner at Dawn’s! The food was really well executed, they use fresh ingredients and we could really taste the passion of the chefs - they want you to get the real deal and not overpriced frozen western food. They also serve craft beer and gelato made in house, what’s there not to love? Will definitely be back.
